Paz Rodríguez solidarity fashion show at ‘Fashion and you’ gala

One of the moments of ‘Fashion and You’ Gala

There were no seats left at the Sea Auditorium in Vigo on Saturday as people showed their solidarity at the ‘Fashion and you’ show. Paz Rodríguez was the only children’s fashion brand at the event in favour of the struggle against childhood cancer.

The ‘Fashion and you’ show against childhood cancer is now in its second year and aims to make people aware of just how important research is in this field, and to raise funds for this purpose.

The parades by the different designers who were guests at the event were very well received. And just as if they were true professionals, the little models once again won the public over with fifteen marvellous looks from the autumn-winter 2016-17 collection.

The event was hosted by the presenter Carlota Corredera, who added a pleasant touch to the proceedings, together with other well-known faces, such as Belén Esteban, Diana Nogueira, Alba Lago and Mila Ximénez, among others.

Once again the event was a great success, and the hall was full of well-known and not-so-well-known faces ready to enjoy themselves and contribute to the struggle against childhood cancer. There were also plenty of parents who wanted to see in person children’s fashion for the season.

The beauty events ‘ShowStars’ and Mister Global Coruña-Pontevedra were also held at the gala; this is where the representatives from Galicia were chosen. The real stars, however, were the children, with their grace and spontaneity on the catwalk.

There was also a live show by hairdresser Óscar Novo and Silvia Fominaya; and by Genma Pardo and Calliope’s Dream, entertaining those present and making sure they had a good time on a day full of emotion.

‘Fashion and you’ gala: the great solidarity fashion event

As we said above, the main purpose of the event is to raise funds for research into childhood cancer. The charity gala devotes 100% of the money raised to research into and the treatment of this kind of illness.

The gala provided publicity for the #NICOContraElCáncerInfantil movement, set up by the mother and aunts of Nico, a baby from Ourense who was diagnosed with an neuroblastoma last year.

On Saturday 5 November we’ll be back up on the catwalk at PetitWalkingStyle in Valencia, parading some of the most representative looks in our autumn-winter collection. Do you want to come with us?
