“Traditional handicraft reinterpreted in a contemporary way” This is how our design colleagues define the new PAZ Rodríguez Spring-Summer 2016 collection, which you have no doubt been able to check out on our web site or on the social networks. We are giving you all the details today on our blog.
THE FABRICS
The collection consists of delicate, filmy and fresh fabrics like linen, muslin, poplin and embroidered cambric. This endows the collection with an air inspired by the elements decorating a summer scene, such as snails, dunes, the sea and wild flowers.
THE COLOURS
The palette of colours includes warm and neutral tones with a hint of vintage – powdered pink, pearl grey and sandy. On a palette of sweet summer sorbets, coral and sea green provide a refreshing touch.
Indigo and white take us on a calm crossing over the sea, as does navy blue, the main colour in our marine look – and we haven’t forgotten fuchsia, which dots our floral designs.
THE LITTLE DETAILS
Transparencies through delicate lace, with fine edgings, pleats, smocking, subtle frills and delicate handmade flowers decorate our clothing, like shells at the edge of a beach.
All these little details, the fabrics and the colour palette take months of work that are now culminated in the launching of this collection. We would love to hear your opinion, as this is our main source of inspiration to keep on improving.
We’ll be waiting for you in the comments!
